Veterans' Housing offered at Volunteers of America Eastern Washington
Volunteers of America’s transitional living program provides support for up to 22 chronically homeless, single men at the Grants Per Diem (GPD) housing complex. Referred primarily from Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV), and who are often dealing with co-occurring issues of mental illness and substance abuse. A Volunteers of America case manager will provide supportive services.
Volunteers of America’s Transitional Living Program provides support for up to twenty chronically homeless. Referred primarily from Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) these individuals deal with co-occurring issues of mental illness, substance use, and often also physical ailments.

Housing Solutions offered at Council for the Homeless
Centralized access point for individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, connecting them to needed programs and services, including shelter placement and housing/safe parking programs.
Provides telephone and in-person screening and assessment for households who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Telephone screenings are provided for emergency shelter (men's, women's, couples, and families) and severe weather shelter. Households are assessed for eligibility for housing programs (rapid re-housing, transitional, and permanent supportive), as well as diversion programs.
