Provides civil legal advocacy to youth primarily between 12-24 years old. TeamChild’s legal team works to secure community-based services, help youth access appropriate education, healthcare, mental/behavioral health resources, safe and stable housing, navigate school discipline, and works with youth incarcerated in the Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) system. Advocacy efforts focus on education and school-related issues such as enrollment, school discipline and access to special education; securing safe and stable housing for youth; and helping clients access public benefits, including health care, mental health services, DDA and other support. Advocacy also includes post-conviction relief, including records sealing, restitution modifications, and assisting youth with reentry supports when returning to community from incarceration. Note: TeamChild does not provide criminal defense representation to youth or adults involved in the juvenile delinquency or adult criminal systems, nor does it offer family law representation, including child custody issues.

Drop-In Center & Resources: The drop-in center provides teens and young adults a safe place to stay during the day to do homework, play games, socialize, work on personal goals or employment, or relax. Young people can also get a hot meal, talk to a caseworker, and get help with resources such as bus tickets or access to showers and laundry facilities. Arcadia staff can also provide referrals to employment training, educational assistance, mental health and substance use counseling, and other services. Operates as a cooling center during weather advisories. Overnight Emergency Shelter: The drop-in center transforms into an overnight emergency shelter where young adults are encouraged to have a hot meal, do laundry, play video games, relax, and get some sleep in a warm and safe environment.

Offers counseling and case management for youth, families, individuals and couples.   Home visits/Telehealth available on a case-by-case basis. Crisis stabilization Substance Use disorder treatment and counseling.

Operates a drop-in center for homeless adults. Offers navigation assistance for housing resources and case management. Limited bus tickets available. Free Wi-Fi and local phone usage. Operation meal service supplies two meals lunch and dinner M-F, Saturday dinner only. Can sometimes offer transportation assistance to re-unite individuals to family. A medical doctor visits the center three days per week to assist with wound care, consultation and referrals for medical care. Serves as a cooling center during hot weather. Therapists and clinical interns support local children, youth, and caregivers through difficult times. The Behavioral Health Program uses a trauma and culturally responsive, evidence-based approach to address issues such as – but not limited to – depression, family conflict, trauma, and anxiety. Also facilitates a therapeutic gaming program called CoRe where Seattle middle school students play video games to cultivate communication and social emotional skills.

Provides help to veterans in accessing VA and community services. Services may include short-term case management, onsite primary care, access to medical, mental health, and substance abuse treatment, and access to VA housing programs, including Grant and Per Diem program, HUD/VASH, Veterans Recovery House and Supportive Service for Veteran Families (SSVF) if found eligible. These grants do not provide immediate assistance, are sometimes one-time, and may include case management. Help with finding market rate or subsidized housing or linkage to community housing programs. Assistance with expediting VA Benefit claims and access to employment programs such as Supported Employment, Veterans Reintegration program, and State employment. Access to computers, clothing, and hygiene items is available onsite.

Provides a range of addiction and substance use disorder treatment services to support individuals and families to get on the road to recovery from substance use disorders. Includes assessments, DUI evaluations, co-occurring disorders treatment, prevention/education, and outpatient counseling. Pasco and Walla Walla Offices offer the Youth and Family Tree Program, which provides treatment to youth aged between 12-25 years old who are using substances. Uses evidence -based practices to provide treatment and case management to youth and their families. Provides substance use disorder treatment through groups and individuals sessions, mental health treatment to those with co-occurring disorders. Also offers services to family members struggling with substance use.

Provides a homeless prevention program designed to assist veteran families at risk of homelessness to maintain their housing, and to rapidly re-house veteran families who have recently become homeless.  Specific services include: case management, service referrals, and rapid rehousing. 

Provides a daily drop-in center for unhoused women and non-binary individuals; no children allowed. Offers the following services: -  Limited food to-go -  Breakfast, lunch and snack - Computer use - Recliner chairs for resting - Phone available for use - An address for receiving mail - Job search assistance - Resume writing support -  Laundry facilities - Shower facilities with wheelchair accessibility, grab bars and a shower chair - Emergency clothing -  Hygiene kits      Offers light case management services with information, referrals and advocacy for various needs.   Clients are welcome to stay at the day center all day or drop in to access specific services.   Food and snacks are available throughout the day, not only at mealtimes. Interpreter services are available by advance request.
